A recent article from REALTOR Magazine explains that homeowners are currently searching for ways to distinctify their lawns and landscaping from that of their neighbors…though it still needs to be low-maintenance.
According to a Houzz survey, “more homeowners are turning to low-maintenance plants to enhance their front yards, along with native plants and those that attract insects and birds. More than half of those who updated their front yard say that beds or borders, shrubs, and perennials were the most important to improving curb appeal.”
That said, environmental concerns are ever-present, so some homeowners are opting to remove their lawns entirely – certainly a statement look in many communities.
